Cocoon Cafe

Cocooning is the act of insulating oneself from the normal social environment, which may be perceived as distracting, unfriendly, dangerous. Cocooning inside Cocoon is one of the best ways to escape from the city's usual anxiety.

The harmony of this place is transfigurating.  An excellent example for many of us to take, starting from the wooden and stony floor and up to the delicate vases aside the windows.

The menu is sprinkled with surprising cafe varieties, unfortunately not too many (which is the only weak point that I've spotted). The music, Gotan Project, Smoke City, Buddah Bar and the likes, bestows delicacy and refinement upon the place. The prices are affordable even for highschool students. Best of all for many of us, one of the two rooms is reserved for nonsmokers, which is still a rather unique feat in Romania. Last but not least, service is truly outstanding, and this within an industry plagued by manpower crisis.

I can confirm that this is the best cafe in Sibiu as of January 11^th, 2007. Which means you should get there fast and cocoon smoothly!
